About Me

Hi there! I’m Hillari.

I’m in my late twenties. I work in Seattle. I live in Tacoma.

I grew up in the Pacific NW. I like to travel though I haven’t ventured off the North American continent really. People fascinate me. I find human nature to be comical and sad and lovely all at the same time. I like to spend my time outside of work playing on facebook & pinterest. I’m starting to eat better and workout more. I recently gave up pop, coffee & alcohol. So far so good. I’ve been in a relationship with a boy named Andy for 3 years. We live together. We have a dog – Seiko, the 140lb Alaskan Malamute. He’s my whole (well half) world. The boyfriend is pretty damn close to taking up the other half of my world. Someday, there might be kids – though pregnancy and childbirth terrify the shit out of me. Also, the whole “being responsible for another human being” freaks me out too. I’m not done being selfish. I read; sometimes. It helps when I commute to work. Most of the time I get lost in my thoughts or fall asleep when on the bus. Recently, I’ve put a lot of my attention into redecorating our house. I have pinterest to thank for this. I’m not super crafty but I’ve been able to fake it pretty well I think. It feels weird to talk about myself, but then again, isn’t that the purpose of a blog? Just about ready to get off my narcissistic soapbox.

Here, I will share my corner of the world with you. I will write about my day to day experiences from work to commuting, from love to frustrations. Whatever is on my mind when I sit before the computer will end up on my blog. Nothing is off limits in my social corner.

Simply put: I work with totally cool geeks. I enjoy people watching. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I love love.
